Eligibility and Documents
*Age – Minimum age for booking the car 21+
*License-Original valid indian driving license mandatory.Foreigners/NRIs can use passport if license unavailable.
*ID Proof-Employment ID+Aadhar, or GST certificate for self-employed.
Cancellation
Booking Payment and deposits
*Security Deposit- For 5 seater cars 5000 is the recurity deposit and 7 seater cars 8k is the deposit, Used for damage repairs,
You pay balance if damage exceeds deposit.
*Cancellation
.>48 hrs before trip:25% of rental charged
.24-48:50% Charged
.<24 hrs or no show: No refund, Full rental charged.
Note: If any booking which is created within 24hrs from the booking start time will not be eligible for cancellation. If any cancellation
request from the customer will be consider as 100% penalty.
If the Renter cancels the booking for reasons vehicle is damaged or vehicle not looking good no refund will be given 100% penalty will be charged.
Refund is given in such scenario where the vehicle is not mechanically fit to drive,normal dents and damges will be there on the car as its a rental vehicle.
Usage rules
*Milage:Per day 300 kms limit exceeding the given kilometers means extra charge.
*Prohibited :No drunk driving-booking cancelled without refund if found.No smoking, tobacco,weed in car-Rs5000 Penalty.
No animals or commercial goods.No commercial use without written permission.No off road driving.
*Traffic laws:Renter responsible for fines,tolls,parking tickets
Fuel and Fastag Policy
*Return with same fuel level as pickup.Extra fuel given isnt refunded.Refueling cost charged if retruned low.
*Return with same fastag bal as pickup.Extra bal given isnt refunded.Difference amount is charged if the balance is low.
Late Return and Extension
Grace period of 30 minutes will be given to every renter. If the renter is a minute late after the grace period that will be
considered as 1 hour period, and will be charged accordingly.
*Late fee:
.250 for 4 seater car
.350 for 5 seater car
.450 for 7 seater car
.600 for 8 seater car
Extension:Request 48 hrs in advance.Subject to availability, Standard charges apply.
Other charges
Parking,tolls,State tax,Service tax payable by customer.
Overspeeding
*Speed limit is 80 to 100Kmph. In case if the customer exceed the 100 speed limit you will be charged INR 500/- for each
violation.
Vehicle damage
*In case of customer negligence like:
.When the customer is not in compliance with the laws and/or with the terms of Fash Cars Customer Agreement.
.When the customer is found to be under the influence of alcohol/narcotics while driving.
Accidents Policy
.In occurance of vehicle damage, customer shall be sole responsible for all such loss regardless of cause,or who,or what cause it
.In the event of accident-customer is liable to pay maxmium of Rs30,000/- and customer will need to pay damage fee equivalent to
the damage repair to Flash cars as per the estimation quoted by authorised dealership along with Downtime Losses(The customer
liable to pay rent for equivalent number of days taking to be repaired.
.In case damage charges exceeds more than Rs30,000/-.An Comprehensive insurance will be claimed and estimation difference amount will
be born by customer and Downtime losses will be same as above.
In case of total loss – a comprehensive insurance will be claimed and any estimation difference of amount, Parking charges etc will be borne by the customer along with 3 months downtime losses will be charged due to claim process.
In case of User Negligence/Accident includes Drink and Drive – Full cost will be paid by the customer.
In situations of irresponsible or unsafe or negligent usage, there could be discretionary exceptions to this policy, whereby the Customer could be liable for all damages irrespective of whether or not Flash cars is able to claim insurance in such cases. Such situation includes, but is not limited to:
When the vehicle workshop and/or insurance company deem the damage to be consequential in nature. Consequential damage occurs when the Customer continues driving the vehicle even when it is performing abnormally.
Beach /off road drive is prohibited for Flash cars vehicle and customer will be liable to pay a compensation of Rs 8000/- in addition to other damages, if the vehicle is taken for beach/off road drive.
Flash cars vehicles are restricted to use for the purposes that are forbidden & prohibited by the law; customer will be sole responsible & liable for all legal actions & consequences for such usage.
When the person driving the vehicle at the time of the incident is found to be different than the one who made the booking.
When the Customer is not in compliance with the laws and/or with terms of the Flash cars Customer Agreement.
When the Customer is found to be under the influence of alcohol/narcotics while driving.
When the number of people in the car at the time of the incident exceed the standard seating capacity of the car.
When the incident happened in a state for which the Customer failed to pay the inter-state tax while entering the state.
When there is misrepresentation of information in the driving license and ID proof details shared by the Customer.
Where there is clear evidence of extremely rash and negligent driving on the Customer’s part.
When the Customer is in violation of traffic rules or of the Motor Vehicles Act.
Cleanliness and Maintenance
Flash cars conducts periodical checks on vehicle performance and ensures that hired vehicles are clean. Flash cars expects its customers to help us maintain our standards of cleanliness. The Customer must ensure that the vehicle is not soiled while returning possession. Flash cars shall charge the following damages and penalty shall deduct from the Security Deposit of the Customer.
Use of chewing gum, tobacco or any tobacco-based product inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. Customers will be penalized accordingly.
Burning of any substance inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. This is not limited to but includes cigarettes, incense sticks or any form of medication/drugs.
Visible fabric stains internally.
Torn fabric inside vehicle.
In case if pets are allowed inside the vehicle.
Presence of sand, excessive mud inside the vehicle.
Flash cars reserves the right to block, penalize, fine the Customer at our own discretion in event of non-compliance of the above.
Running Repair
While we strive to deliver high-quality products and services, electrical issues can arise due to various factors beyond our control, we recommend visiting a nearby garage or qualified service center for thorough diagnostics and repairs. Please note Flash cars cannot assume responsibility for unforeseen electrical malfunctions. In instances where the vehicle is operated using the half-clutch method, it is important for customers to be aware that this practice can contribute to accelerated wear and potential issues with the clutch plate, any fault or running repairs charges incurred, customer will be responsible for bearing the charges as per prescribed by our executive.
Interstate Trip
Customers are responsible for paying all tolls & state permits,allowing the vehicle to enter any state of INDIA.
Please stop the vehicle at the border RTO check post to obtain valid state permit by paying relevant charges. If a customer plans to go Andhra Pradesh/Kerala, then the customer should inform our customer care to allocate the vehicle which has a valid permit. In cases of non-available of existing AP/Kerala/Tamil nadu state entry permit vehicles, then Customer must pay the fee and obtain state entry permit based on their requirement.
Towing Charges
User negligence/accident- Full cost should be paid by the customer.
Personal Belongings
Flash cars is not responsible for any damage to, Loss or theft of any personal property belonging to user or co-passenger or third party regardless of fault or negligence.
